Compliance, on the calendar.

Statutory inspections, NDT, recertification, coordinated end-to-end with an Approved Inspection Authority. So the legal file closes the same week the boiler comes back online.

What this means in practice

You are the duty holder.

Reg 17 places primary responsibility on the operator. Evnia executes the work; the certificate is signed in your name.

The AIA is the witness, not the contractor.

Approved Inspection Authorities are independent. We coordinate with them; they sign off. That separation is the point.

The cycle resets per vessel, not per plant.

Each vessel under pressure carries its own inspection clock. We track them on a register so nothing slips into a non-compliant window.

A failed inspection isn't a failure.

Most defects we find are repairable in-cycle. The risk you carry is the inspection that didn't happen, not the one that surfaced an issue.

§ 02 · The five-step process

Schedule. Prepare. Test. Witness. Certify.

Same five steps for every vessel, every cycle. The detail changes; the rhythm doesn't.

Paper, plate, register entry. In that order.

Issued at recertification.Auditable. Forwardable. Filed.
  1. 01

    Inspection report

Detailed written report of findings, surface condition, internal corrosion, NDT results, thickness measurements, valve condition, recommended actions. Signed by the inspecting technician.

PDF + Hard copyIssued within 5 working days.
  2. 02

    AIA-signed compliance certificate

The certificate that closes the inspection cycle. Issued by the Approved Inspection Authority, witnessed and counter-signed by Evnia, recorded against the vessel serial.

    AIA-signedValid 12 / 24 / 36 mo per scope.
  3. 03

    Refreshed vessel name plate

Where the original plate is illegible or missing, we coordinate fabrication and stamping of a replacement carrying the original design data plus the recertification stamp.

    StampedPermanently fixed to vessel.
  4. 04

    Vessel register entry

We maintain a register of every vessel we inspect, last inspection, next inspection, scope, AIA, defects logged. The operator's copy is yours; ours is the audit trail.
